November 19th, several WA SHRM members attended a Day On The Hill at the Leadership Conference Held in Washington DC, meeting with Sen. Murray and several WA House Representative aides voicing the HR perspective and concerns on Healthcare Reform and Workplace Flexibility Legislation, specifically the Healthy Families Act.
Senator Cantwell took time to meet directly with members of the Yakima, Blue Mountain, Columbia Basin, Skagit Island, So King County, and So Puget Sound Chapters. Together they voiced the impact Healthcare reform and Workplace Flexibility legislation is expected to have on our Businesses.
