Welcome to Yakima Valley Human Resource Association. YVHRA is a professional organization that exists to provide resources to HR professionals and advance the HR profession. As an affiliate of Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) our chapter is committed to promoting the human resource profession as a strategic business partner with our members’ respective organizations. For over 30 years, YVHRA has provided a forum for HR professionals in the Yakima area to connect with each other and benefit from professional development opportunities.

 

I’m honored to serve as elected YVHRA president for 2011, building upon the past success of previous YVHRA presidents and boards of directors. I’m also honored to work with the group of professionals that composes this year’s board. The board members have designed compelling programs for this year that will provide high quality, local, low cost professional development opportunities for HR professionals throughout Yakima Valley, including programming opportunities that will take place in the lower valley. More information about this year’s programs, including lower valley programs, will be posted soon.
